Sophie Cornelia de Ruiter is a statistician with a specialization in epidemiology. She completed her Master’s degree in Statistical Science for the Life and Behavioral Sciences at Leiden University. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the University Medical Center of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and visiting the Medical University of Innsbruck for collaborational projects. Her research focuses on Mendelian randomisation studies, specifically examining sex differences in risk factor effects for cardiovascular diseases.
