Gerhard Klingenschmid is a medical doctor with a research focus on cardiovascular epidemiology and clinical stroke research. After completing his medical degree at the Medical University of Innsbruck, he currently investigates new biomarkers of cardiovascular disease within the scope of his PhD study and contributes to data acquisition and analysis in the Bruneck Study.
