David A. Larsen

David Larsen is an epidemiologist and is a visiting professor at the Institute of Health Economics at the Medical University of Innsbruck. He earned a Master’s of Public Health and PhD in Public Health from Tulane University, and is a professor of public health at Syracuse University. David Larsen has worked extensively on infectious disease surveillance, most recently leading the wastewater surveillance network for New York State. His primary research topics are around infectious disease surveillance, infectious disease epidemiology, and the control of infectious diseases.
