Study design

The Chinese Multi-Provincial Cohort Study (CMCS) is a general population study that was conducted in multiple provinces in China. The Beijing Cohort (CMCS-BEIJING) comprises a subpopulation of CMCS. Enrolled study participants were Beijing community residents. The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Beijing An Zhen Hospital, Capital Medical University. All participants provided written informed consent.
