Lena Tschiderer is a mathematician and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Economics at the Medical University of Innsbruck. She has earned a master’s degree in Technical Mathematics from the University of Innsbruck and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Medical University of Innsbruck and has several experiences in statistical programming as well as implementation and application of statistical methods. Lena Tschiderer has also worked as a visiting postdoc at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care at the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands. Currently, she is working as a scientific coordinator for the Proof-ATHERO consortium and her responsibilities comprise data management and statistical analyses of large-scale data. Her main research topics are atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease with a special focus on sex differences.
