Study design
The HD-IMT Study is focusing on individuals on haemodialysis and is based in Kragujevac, Serbia. Patients treated by chronic haemodialysis in the Center for Dialysis of the Kragujevac Clinical Center were enrolled in this study. The principal aim of the study was to investigate the correlation of endothelium malfunction and arteriosclerosis in patients on chronic haemodialysis. The study was approved by the Ethics Board of the Clinical Center Kragujevac.
