Study design

The BK Registry II Study is a two-arm clinical trial based in Daejeon, South Korea. The principal aim of the trial was to investigate the effect of usual therapy and Atorvastatin (10mg/day) versus usual therapy alone on endothelial function and carotid intima-media thickness in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention with stenting. Written informed consent was obtained from all patients, and the hospital ethics committee approved the study.
